In September of 2019 we will be exhibiting Plates Against Patriarchy at the Harwood Art Center’s annual Bridge: Arts & Social Justice show. The show will be comprised of portrait plates, narratives, and a collaborative installation honoring a female leader in our community. We invite you to be a part of this gallery exhibition.
Send us your selfies, tell us your stories, and we will put your portrait on a dish, adorn it with your words, and fight the patriarchy one plate at a time.
We also ask you to share with us a Matriarch you feel deserves to be honored. With her permission, we will use her likeness in a large scale community installation. All nominees will be featured in the details of this piece.
